Working in the Hidden Himalayas, the Nepal Trust has made a real difference over the years to the lives of many in a very remote and inaccessible part of the world. Many clubs and individuals from D1200 have helped in this effort, often with District and RI grant support.
Later this month there is opportunity to hear at first hand how past and current projects are faring and of future opportunity to participate in the work of the Nepal Trust.
Jeroen van den Berg from the Nepal Trust will be giving talks in the District at the following times and venues:
- Monday 24/11 at 19.00 at Wells Rotary Club: The White Hart Hotel BA5 2RN
- Wednesday 26/11 at 18.00 at Ilminster Rotary Club: The Shrubbery Hotel
- Thursday 27/11 at 18.30 at Langport and Somerton Rotary Club: The Langport Arms Hotel TA10 9PD
The format for all events will be a sit down meal with networking and fellowship to be followed by Jeroen’s talk.
If you are interested in hearing what he has to say please book in direct with the club secretaries.”
