BATH FESTIVAL OF MOTORING BACK FOR FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND
100s of vintage and classic cars & motorbikes will ‘vroom’ into the City
for June 18th/19th
The Rotary Club of Bath’s Festival of Motoring will be back again this year for Father’s Day weekend, June 18th and 19th.
The family-friendly charity event – which last year gave over 6,000 visitors the chance to get up close and personal with 500 vintage and classic cars & motorbikes, as well as the very latest prestige Supercars – is being held at Lansdown, opposite the Park & Ride.
The Festival, which includes trade stands and a range of entertainment for all ages, will raise funds for two main charities:
– ‘Freewheelers’, which provides volunteer motorcyclists who transport blood and other essential life saving products around the country
– ‘Time to Share’ an organisation which arranges support and services to improve the lives of disabled children in Bath.
Rotary’s Simon Spalding said:
“The Festival of Motoring is a great family occasion, perfect for anyone who loves the romance, excitement and style of motoring old or new. And it will be a great way to give Dad a special treat for Father’s Day too.“
