An Evening with the Ice Maidens – Date Correction 19th April not 17th April

Ice Maidens at the end of their journey.

Join Chard Rotary and find out about how the ‘Ice Maidens’ became the first all woman team to cross the Antarctic Peninsula, on foot, with no outside support.

Team leader, Major Natalie Taylor, will describe how the intrepid members of the team prepared for and succeeded in this amazing feat of endurance.

The talk will take part in St. Mary’s Church, Chard on Thursday 19th April 2018, starting at 7.00pm.

Tickets are available at £5.00 per person (under 16’s free) and can be reserved by contacting President Robin Williams on 07824640088, by visiting Barron’s Outfitters, Holyrood Street, Chard or at the door on the night.

All proceeds will be divided between Rotary Foundation and a charity of Natalie’s choice.

Come along and join us for what is bound to be a fascinating evening.
